If several people are home educating in the same town or area, it makes a lot of sense for them to get together, to a degree with which they are comfortable. To facilitate this, a data base has been created.

There are many good reasons why home educating families should get in touch with each other. They can offer each other support, share ideas, and perhaps resources and skills. The social contact of the children can be extended. Small groups can be formed for study purposes, educational outings, etc. The potential for working together is enormous.
Such groups could eventually lead to the formation of small, informal "schools", perhaps in people's houses. And remember, other parents may be encouraged to consider the home educating option when they see local groups being formed.

First of all home educating families have to find each other. There are two options:

1) main contact people for various cities/towns/areas (on another page)

2) the individual contact group database for the whole of India (on another page)
